International Conference to Honor Peter PulayUA Professor Gets International Honor
Distinguished Professor of Chemistry in J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences recognized for achievements and innovations.
Pulay holds the Mildred B. Cooper Chair in Bioinformatics Research in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. Early in his career he developed techniques for determining the shape and size of molecules that would permanently change the way scientists study matter. Today his approach is widely used by theoretical chemists around the world. Conference papers will be published in the journal Molecular Physics. The conference is being hosted by the Center for Computational Chemistry at the University of Georgia. For more information on the conference see http://www.ccc.uga.edu/Pulay/. |
