International Applicants
All international students must apply through the UA International Admissions office. You cannot apply directly to the department or a professor. You can request an application packet at intlap@uark.edu. Please visit International Admissions for more information.
You must complete the application process with International Admissions before your file will be sent to the department of chemistry and biochemistry for possible acceptance into the graduate program.
The TOEFL or IELTS is required to apply to graduate school at the University of Arkansas. Score minimums are available on International Admissions Web site.
To be eligible to apply to our gradute program, you cannot be missing more than 3 of the chemistry and math courses required to complete a bachelor of science in chemistry at the University of Arkansas. See degree requirements.
For the fincancial assistance of a contact teaching assistantship, you must submit one of the following: TSE score of 50 or 7 on speaking section of IELTS or 26 on the speaking section of the iBT TOEFL.
The GRE verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing exams are required to apply to the department of chemistry and biochemistry.
