Forensic Chemistry
Survey of chemistry used in criminal investigations. Topics may include detection and identification of drugs, alcohol, toxins, explosives and gun powder residue. Chemical analysis of paint, ink, paper, soil, glass and fibers. Chemical detection of blood and fingerprints. Extraction of DNA from evidence, DNA fingerprinting.
