B.S. biophysical check list

A minimum of 43 semester hours in chemistry including CHEM 1213/1211L, 1223/1221L (or 1103/1101L, 1123/1121L), 2262,2272; CHEM 3504, 3514/3512L; CHEM 3603/3601L-3613/3611L or 3703/3702L-3713/3712L; CHEM 3504, 3514/3512L, 4213/4211L, 4853; and 6 hours to be chosen from 5813-5843 or 3813-4723; additional required courses to include MATH 2554 and 2564; PHYS 2053/2051L, 2073/2071L; and 11 hours of biological sciences to include BIOL 1543/1541L, 2534/2530L and one additional lecture course numbered above 3000.

The mathematics and physics courses are prerequisites for some advanced courses and should be scheduled early in the student’s program.
